Listening to the Lord’s voice;

The blare of impatient buzzers,
throbbing music, rushing traffic,
and relentless demands,
quiet to a soft mummer;

Flickering computer screens,
big screen images,
and glitzy advertising hype;
slowly fade into the distant horizon;

Leaving my soul centered
