So many times,
reading about
sowing and reaping,
I bravely reached out
creating new friendships.
But there is more to this law.
Now, sensing of the justness
of the Law of the Harvest,
I no longer surrender
my harvest to another.

Called Home
by Cheryl Merrick
In the business world
defective merchandise
is recalled.
On the computer
errors are
deleted.
Children
get sent to the principal
when misbehaving.
Adults
are confined in prisons
when violent.
And when a society’s behavior
becomes degraded,
they are called home.

Justice and Mercy
by Cheryl Merrick
In his determination for revenge
he gave no quarter
to mercy
Absolute Justice
was his demand
Til experiencing
its crushing weight,
He cried out,
Mercy!

to mercy
Absolute Justice
was his demand
Til experiencing
its crushing weight,
He cried out,
Mercy!
