Looking at my reflection,
I despairingly note;
face too long, nubby nose!
I stop; and see Grandpa’s long, thin face;
quiet, hardworking.
There is Grandma’s “button” nose;
kind hearted, unhurried.
I note my mother’s delicate frame, her beige skin;
sensitive, nature lover.
There is my father’s smile, his sparkle in my eyes;
humor, fun.
Looking deeper, from my Heavenly Father,
a light within;
peace, hope.
