(New Orleans Abandoned)
The great city is gone.
Water fills it’s streets
And it’s people have fled.
I sit stunned.
I remember driving through this city
And marveling at it’s greatness,
But now it is gone.
Reminded again of the power of God,
I am left to ponder
The weakness of man.
